Operation Process for Logistics Services

Pre Advice

• Prior instructions given by the customer such as weekly schedules,
• Delivery expected time, suppliers, quantities, etc.
• This information should be given in writing (e-mails/fax etc)
• Issue a warehouse job reference for each booking.

Receiving goods at Global Park

• Receiving Cargo from suppliers (Local & foreign) along with the supporting documents as follows,Packing List, Gate Passes, Invoices etc
• Check these against cargo receiving sheet and hand over to respective supervisor to start the unloading
  
  

Unloading

• Supervisor will check all documents and details availability prior to start unloading.Direction of unloading Pattern and tally sheet preparation by supervisor and instructions forward to tally clerk.
• Physical inspection of the mark & numbers of the packages, and direct to the tally clerk for the cargo acceptance.
• Physical counting, weight checking, measurement, inspections of the damages, discrepancy according to the packing list and put away.
• Attached TAG sheet with shipment details
• Acknowledge copy of receipt and release the vehicle.
• Put away to location and mark locations ID
• Double check with supplier representative/Driver and get confirmed it.
• Filled description sheet mentioning the reason clearly and forward to respective.
• Maintain discrepancy record list and follow up it.

GRN Issue

• Receive detail update to the WMS and raising the Good Receiving Note

• Preparing of Load build plan according to the quantities received, approvals etc.This information’s should be in writing. (eg. Mails/fax etc.)

Loading

• Supervisor will check all documents and details availability prior to start loading. Direction of loading pattern and loading tally sheet preparation tally sheet preparation by supervisor and instructions forward to loading tally clerk.

GDN Issue

• Loading detail update to the WMS and raising the Good Dispatch note raised documents forward sheet accordingly and hand over document pouch to vehicle driver/ representative Raised GLOBAL PARK gate pass with them and sent vehicle to relevant location.
